India plans to spend more than 5000 billion rupees (1 U.S. dollar equals 46 rupees) purchasing six new generation of conventional submarines to replace the aging submarine fleet.
According to “The Times of India,” 11 reported that the heavily procurement led by the Indian Defense Minister Antony Defence Procurement Board. 6 new generation of submarines in the four countries will provide technical assistance to build in India the other two are likely to buy from abroad, but may also by the Indian private shipyard.
