China as a developing country, but it is always concerned by other countries especially U.S. and some European countries for China’s gradually advanced militray equipments. Recently, one U.S. military website, the “Strategy Page”, they have posted an article about the forecast of China’s weapons.

They guessed, maybe China consider their anti-tank missiles is too expensive for all the infantry, and maybe this is the main reason that China began to equip PF-98 120mm Rocket since from late 90′s.

According to the report, the PF-98 is equipped with a tripod-type rocket launcher, it can fire more than 6 kg heavier anti-tank ammunition, destroy the tank 800 meters away, and also fired about 7 kg anti-infantry ammunition, attack targets outside the 1,800 meters. Indeed, the PF-98 rocket launcher is only 1.7 meters, so it can be taken on shoulder, the tripod can be more convinient for the operator. In addition, the PF-98 can also be equipped with night vision then it can be exported to foreign countries.

There is one thing it have not been certificated, that’s the anti-tank ammunition can destory some advanced Western type tanks or armor, including the U.S. M1 Abrams. Of course this argument yet to be confirmed. In addition, PF-98-type anti-infantry rocket ammunition has nearly 40 mm armor ability to destroy most of the small armored vehicles.

Although China have the anti-tank missiles, but they seems much prefer to the preferential anti-tank weapons. Compared with the expensive anti-tank missiles, PF-98 structure is simple and fierce, with rocket-propelled grenades, which is called “man-cannon.”

But for U.S. and some western countries, the appearance of China’s large aircraft make them feel competitive. According to the U.S. media, the C919 have threatened the Boeing and Airbus’s situation.

In fact, China has begun actively involved in aircraft air show around the world, when in 2009 C919 appearred, the U.S. media have paid close attention to C919, they worried that the C919 will share the big cake of aircraft industry with Boeing and Airbus.

According to the introduction, C919 jet can carry up to 180 passengers, which can compete to Boeing 737 and Airbus A320. As one report in “The Wall Street Journal”, they took China as the strong competitor as the Air show, they also suggested China planed to broke the monopolization of Boeing and Airbus with C919, and the truth is, hundreds of aircraft orders have made their France, Germany adn America assembly lines in busy working.

After 2009 when C919 first time showed publicly, in the China Zhuhai Air show, the C919 have made totally one hundred order with many companies, which including U.S. GE Aviation Financial Services Limited company.

“In 2011, Domestic C919 large aircraft will take over the new orders,” the chief architect of China-made large aircraft told to reporters, they estimated that the next 20 years they will reach total sales of more than 2,300 aircraft, which will occupy more than half of the domestic market, and part of foreign occupation.

“The C919 is not only successful in technology, but also in business.” According to people’s living standards, the global demand to C919 will reach twenty thousand pieces in next 20 years.

He also revealed that C919 has completed a preliminary design, it’s in detailed design and manufacturing phase this year, some parts will be put into production, after 3 years it is expected to first flight, and in 2016 they can completed the national orders.
